  • May I ask, what soft is being used to track the notes? It seems like it's Notation Axon, when I look closely at the video clip, but I am not for sure. Is the Notation Axon included as part of the AX-50/100 package? Whatever is used to demonstrate, it certainly tracks the note so well. I am seriously considering to buy the AX-50 to mainly for tracking of lead notes. Thanks in advance.

  • The software is the notation editor within Steinberg Cubase.

  • Which Cubase version is that? Cubase 4, Cubase Studio 4, Cubase Essential 4? Or is it the Cubase LE that comes with the Terratec AXON AX 100 MK II purchase? Thanks.

  • If I remember correctly it was version 3

  • @etalkishere this thing is so glitchy...Get a Roland.

  • @alexmcginness yup...same here. Id like to try this guys set up as mine is worthless for anything except showing my friends how bad it tracks. Ive got it in the studio as a rack space cause if I tossed it thered be a hole in the rack. Dont know how Burr is getting the acuracy, but mine is total crap.

  • imagine what robert fripp could do with this

  • Ive had mie since 05 and mine still doesnt track like this. Ive tried it with a piezo and a mag pickup....glitchy as hell.

  • I am actually considering buying the AX-50, because my main application is to capture lead notes coming out of my guitar. I have to install the Roland GK-3 midi pickup to my regular guitar. Do you think the AX-50, GK-3 and Cubase 3/4 package will enable me to excellent tracking of lead notes? Is the sensitivity configuration on AX-50 or GK-3 hard/tricky to accomplish a good note tracking? Thanks much again. BTW, I wish there is an equipment note tracking utube demo for AX-50 like this one.
