There is one thing I don't understand. While publishing with Amazon you are asked if you want 35 or 70 percent commission. But you only mention the 35 percent option. Is there a choice or are others wrong?
Thanks

This is really out of date. The KDP interface doesn't look or function like that any more.

Hi David,
I watched your video and follow your exact tips for creating a "table of contents" in my book and uploaded it to Amazon. But once the book in live (according to the preview on Amazon) it doesn't show the table of contents, just the headline for the TOC.
Have you had any problems with this?

Great information! Thank you so much! I am wondering though, do you know how to set up an ebook for Amazon Kindle before you write it? The whole formatting thing is very confusing...Please help!!!

Typically, you create a JPEG. The platform you use will give pixel dimensions it will accept.
If you have the "paint" program on your computer, you can use it to resize the image of your cover/other images you might load.

what´s the standard size of the ebooks covers?

@urieldanmar Hi, thanks for your question. You'll want to check on the Kindle DTP guidelines. Here's the current standard:
Recommendations for the size of your cover art:
Horizontally: minimum of 500 pixels
Vertically: maximum of 1280 pixels
Be sure to Save at 72 dots per inch (dpi) for optimal viewing on the web. You can use the "paint" program under accessories to reduce the size of your cover file.
Hope that helps.
