July 2008 - the video starts with my sister-in-law getting in trouble for trying to touch a turtle despite the dozens of signs saying not to. "No touching! Aloha! Aloha!" It's a favorite memory of the trip. This is at Turtle Beach (Honulani) at Laniakea, Oahu, Hawaii. The baby crawling around is mine. The song is "Tortues" (Turtles) from Saint-Saens' Le Carnaval des Animaux.
when used as a command ,its like 'HEY! HELLO!"- to get your attention - thats what was meant.... besides, when "auntie" is yelling ALOHA in THAT tone of voice, you gotta listen braddah

Amazing score. Somehow this video has something to say about humanity and man (or baby's) struggle along side the turtle.
Also I've never heard Aloha used as a command.
