@Chretze Got you beat, buddy. I started loving the Heavy Metal genre last year when I was 13, with Blind Guardian being one of my favorites. I suppose we're both proof that there's hope for the future.

i believe that the 2 first album's are speed metal.the other one's are power witha an exeption on nightfall in middle-earth which i think is epic metal...

@caosenelsotano Follow The Blind is also speed metal. Heavens Gate was the only band that was power metal on No Remorse Records. I think people are overusing the term power metal. Power metal is not about speed but power. You notice on the guitar riffs when it's power emtal and when it's speed metal. Sounds it very fast and reminds you of thrash on speed then you know for sure it's not power metal. And power metal has the same rhythm as you were riding on a horse in a fast way.
