@retrochad I picked up a Motorola console radio/phonograph last week made in May 1965 that is transistorized. The changer was made in 1963. They have a nice sound.
Very nice fine. Unless this model is really different there is only one large center channel speaker like other Motorola consoles of this era. The center speaker is 15" woofer and there are smaller speakers on each side. Although it sounds hoaky it works really well and sounds good. I have a nearly identical model but with a transistor amp and the same vacuum tube tuner.
LOVE THE BUMPER STICKER! AMEN TO THAT! The radio is really retro! I too love those dials are very space age! I also like the tone arm, very slimline and 60's ish! Reminds me of the mic that the presenter on Match Game used to use during the 70s.

It looks like there had been a CRT that was taken out and replaced with a piece of paneling.

Cool dials, like a 60's car instrument panel!

that would make it a 2.1 seince the 2 smaller speakers act as a left channe and right channel and a woofer/sub
