Saw him live on a few occasions, mainly at the Hammersmith odeon throughout the late seventies. This song was one of my favourites - a truly electric atmosphere... he could really play, so sadly missed.

Thanks. This is my favorite line up Gerry, Rod and Lou. Great time to see him before he got ill and left us too soon. He was a great inspiration to a 13 year old kid in '72 and seeing that cover to Live in Europe '72 for the first time changed my life. I was living in Japan at the time of his death and the Japanese music community remembered him with class and dignity.

@samansun I have been a Rory fan for a long time but I was always quick to point out his errors !!

But here you have it - When you are on stage someone will "notice" if you drop anything.

A giutarist once dropped his plectrum - He looked for it - I was appalled that he did not have a spare. I found his "plectrum" under my seat - it was a 20p piece with string scratches - I offerred it back to him but he was so embarrassed he denied it was his !!

@mcgyverracing They might want to change the spelling to "SUPED UP FORD" !! From the fifties onward

cars were often "SUPER CHARGED" This lead on to the now universal fuel injection systems found on family cars. . None of this had anything to do with soup !! But it didn't stop Rory from blowing up a storm !!
