I am not a native Marathi speaker and an Indian-American. I must say this movie is awesome! It has such a strong theme; a movie like this gives a whole new perspective of life. Despite the lingual and cultural barriers, I was able to appreciate the movie. It honestly is a big change to see movie like this giving a true reflection of life in India, unlike seen in contemporary movies. Are there any other Marathi (or Indian) movies like this? Let me know!

Happiness is very subjective.. She has been looking at her life without accepting the options available in front of her,.. It is is when she accepts her options she finds true happiness in her life... So simple yet so difficult... Very nice movie & amazing performances..

a heart-wrenching portrayal of the struggle of a single parent/divorced woman. vidya has dedicated her whole life to pleasing everyone and yet her affections have not been reciprocated by her husband/son/mother. she is just living life day to day and it's such a demanding life that she doesn't have time to figure out who she is and what she wants from life. in the end, she says, if life hands u lemons, make lemonade... but then tomorrow she'll be back to the same old crappy life!
