@Talieman go to the level thats underground with the bats and spiders, take the left route and go to where the dinosaur is swimming in the water. ground pound its back, stand on its head, and you can drive it. drive it towards a platform with double doors, go through the doors and follow a short course until theres the green switch. hit it and all of the metal Mario blocks come unlocked

@kissable2lips well see in the castle wen you have mario you go to the sun by standing on the sun thingy on the floor and the you press X till you zoom in then move the cam round NOT up and down the you fly the the platform and hit the switch and jump off the platform after you saved your game :)

Well that was much easier than the way I did it. I used the green box up top near the red bomb-omb and had to time a jump perfectly underwater against the cliffside to make it to the star just in time.

how do you get the wing cap

Rofl, I kept trying to use the green box you see in the beginning, I would become metal and then shoot myself from the cannon towards the star, didn't work.
