  • this is better than will farrell, its real, its stuff Harry would actually say.

  • That is soooo perfect...but it was part of Harry's success, I think. Like just going to the ballpark with your uncle, who'd fill in all the gaps where nothing much was going on on the field. Just havin' a Bud, yammering on about everything under the sun, watching baseball. You could do worse. And don't forget, the Cubs lost all the time for most of his years, so he had to make some kind of experience out of it, something worthwhile to stay three hours for.

  • best Harry Caray impersonator around!

  • TRUE Harry Caray story. In 1997 he got in the habit of figuring out how a player's last name would be pronounced if it were spelled backwards. At an Expos game, Mark Grudzielanek comes up to bat...so Harry says, "You know, if Grudzielanek spelled his name backwards (then a few seconds of silence).....I wouldn't be at all surprised.." Then he went on to call play by play.

  • I once heard him say during a Cubs game at Wrigley on a sweltering, humid night, "What a great night to drink beer!!!"

  • Not even close. The best Harry impersonation, by far is Jim Volkman's.

  • He has the funniest lines and best impression.

  • Meh, I think Will Ferrells is better.

  • hahaha there's a triple play

  • For another shot at the impression, search Harry Caray on Terry Mulholland. Cubs Win! Cubs Win!! I gave it my best :)

  • I love the way he used to point out people in the crowd and be like "There's Fred and Deloris Yates. They're up here all the way from Russellville, Kentucky, celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary. Fred is a shift manager at Logan Aluminum and Deloris is the junior English teacher at Logan County High School... Go Cougars!" or something like that... When I was a kid, I didn't understand that people were telling him these things about the people he was talking about...

  • This guy and will ferrell's impersonations are too high pitched. Not that great.
