I can't believe he's gone. I still don't know what the circumstances were to make Csaba up and leave. I guess the new guy Eddie Alterman is alright, so far. I mean, you can't be a dummy AND get into the top position such as the Editor-in-Chief of a number 1 auto enthusiast magazine that dates back from the 50's without knowing how to write. And i'm sure he both knows how to write and what to write about. Still, i'm used to seeing that *ahem* "unique" name (Csaba) since my first issue in '88.

@85corolla Oh yes! the 85 Corolla is ten times better and faster and way cooler!

Csaba Csere is one of the best. Just says it like it is, simple and straightforward. I loved it when Csaba interviewed one of the engineers for the Hyundai Genesis and just because he threw a few tough questions the engineer's way people got all pissy and whiny.

I think that was the most polite way someone could of could have ever told anyone to just ''deal with it and stop **tching''

Or maybe because it's hand built. Every gtr has a different horsepower. One engine might be 4.2 mm off and one maybe 5.2 mm off

He has no valid proof. While it may be very likely, again it's just assumptions, so no he didn't flat out said it that they such action. Nevertheless, Car and Driver, Edmunds, Motortrend, and other testers all got similar results for the GT-R.
3.4 to 3.5 0-60
11.8 quarter mile
Some got a bit higher, some got a bit lower but that's roughly the average for these car reviews.

very respected editor, he told the truth about testing, there are alot of variables, i have seen some video's of gtr's running 117 and some running 121 quarters stock
