@gameboy11 whitney will always be my favorite singer she made music that changed lives and brought love ones closer together she will truly be missed

Her voice is so soothing....I've watched so many of these youtube clips in the past couple of days and I get chills everytime. Damn. It's such a huge loss. @kreyolchick is right, Whitney doesn't need to rehearse. Her singing was effortless in the early years. I think though it was more like 1996 that things started going downhill. If only she'd had the strength to let go of Bobby earlier. Maybe her gift could've been preserved and things would've been different.

Her death today is a sad loss to the music industry..we all thought she'd make a great come back...her time was done but she left us with a great catalog of music. Prayers go out to her family especially her daughter and mother.

@KreyolChick her voice only got a little bit thicker after 1992, but she could still sing like this effortlessly

Shaquille O'Neal was in the audience this night, and he borrowed her his jacket, because she was cold! :)))

@MrDTJones1 I agree. Whit might not be my favorite singer of all time (Mariah is) but her voice was unmatched back in the day.
this is just the real thing. she doesnt need to rehearse. it's always flawless. im speaking about 80s to 1992.
