  • Way to go, I believe in this initiative.

  • This is an excellent program, please continue inspiring the new generations to think! I feel that this will help human kind instead human business for few.

Please keep using your creative mind to bring more reason instead of greed to the business arena. We want a fulfilling perspective for human future.

    Congratulations.

  • @YoLninYo I agree it is also what they are doing with their "Intel teach to the future" in Africa, it's all about how to use Microsoft products, that's why they always talk about us as "emerging markets"!!

  • "six year old children, in a village in africa are being taught powerpoint and msword" ... that's criminal !!"

    bingo!

  • The idea of this talk is: "Treat the children not as passive recipients of knowledge, but active agents of change"

"In Peru, 50% of the children with OLPC are teaching their parents to read and write"

(why they couldn't do it before OLPC is another question I have in my mind )

but yeah I think treat children as "teachers to the lower grades" etc can be sort of practicable.

After all, children do pass on information about games, sexuality, stories and other memes to their juniors.

  • proper descriptions really need to be added to these videos
