The lower to the ground you go the higher the radiation. At 2 feet above the ground its just over 1.0µSv/h, well past the mandatory evacuation zone issued by the Soviets for the Chernobyl disaster. As you can see at ground level its much higher.

  • I just bought some tomatoes from Chiba prefecture. .30 on my geiger counter. Should I throw them out?

  • @MrHeiwa07 The ONLY food I eat is either from Kyushu or imported. I would definitely not eat anything from Fukushima or Chiba. Keep in mind radiation is accumulative.

  • i thought you moved from kashiwa?

  • @SuperTime2Change Yes, I returned them to the Department store and I even showed the the geiger reading too. Can you believe that my wife wanted to eat them? She thought they were OK. This country is living in denial !!

  • But but but, the Nuclear industry says everything is okay and that they need to build more of these "safe" energy plants...

and and and that oil gas and coal are really what is bad..

yes yes yes, .they also say too that Man Made Global Warming is real and taxes on everything will make the sun cool a few degrees...to save the planet...

Al Gorites believe the Man Bear Pig and the United Nations with their enrichment scheme of lies and scare tactics....

Wake someone up with half a brain. Thanx!

  • @MrHeiwa07 toss it. You would be a fool to eat it. I agree with asuperdry. Do NOT eat them.
