The funniest part of this is its simplicity. Every element of his statement is necessary. There aren't words wasted. It's just "Am I on the air"- all of which are necessary to establish time and place- and "Fuck!" That's needed as an expression of contempt for the uselessness that is the CSPAN caller. What's the point of even taking callers? They're stupid and even candidates who appear can't hide their contempt for callers. That's why "FUCK!" is necessary.
