  • Does anyone know what data acquisition/video system this car is using. I like the layout and simplicity.

I am using the SmartyCAM camera made by AIM. It ties to most data systems with a simple bridge connector. You can program any of the data monitored to display on the camera. The speed is tracked by GPS in this video that is in the camera itself, as well as the G-forge meter.

  • @Autumnleafroad Thanks for the info, I really like this setup. After knowing what camera it is I can do more research. From what I have done so far it looks like you are using the Smartycam stand alone, is that correct?

    Thanks again

  • @shelby367

Correct. I had just bought it prior to that race. They also have track maps that can be loaded on the camera to show track location on the video.
