Asking fellow American metal heads, what to buy back in high school, the 80's? Twisted Sister, Dokken, Iron Maiden, Marillion, Dio..... wait, what, who?! I bought it, listened to it everyday, Misplaced Childhood, still listen to it to this day. It is a work of art.

Kilts, mullets, suit jackets worn with a t-shirt, my god it must be the eighties.

Long live Scotland! Fish now & forever! Marillion never was or even be the same to me, they should have changed the name, I would appreciate the music , because it is reallly good. I simply can not accept Marillion w/o Fish, sorry Steve.e's There"s magic or not, that's all ...

I cannot possibly understate the influence Marillion had upon me in the 80's. Purely awesome arrangements and absolutely unbeatable lyrics. 'Misplaced Childhood' is one of my top ten 'desert island' albums without a doubt.
