If ever a female in the field of Country Music deserves this honor, it is Jean Shepard. She is a true pioneer who broke down walls and busted through doors in a day when the boys ran the show (or thought they did). She paved the way for so many that followed her. This honor is years and years overdue, but I'm so happy that it finally happened. I've visited with Jean at her concerts, and she is such a warm, witty and down-to-earth gal. CONGRATS JEAN!

I absolutely loved the people that the Country Music Hall Of Fame picked to be inducted this year! Not only because Reba is an inductee, but I had no idea Jean Shepard, and Bobby Braddock were so talented. I have not even heard of them until March 1st, when the Inductees were announced. Great line-up.
