The lift of the shoulder is achieved completely incorrectly. As the horse is trying to rebalance himself from hyperflexed position, it has no other option but jump up with the shoulder. The art is achiving the lift and carriage of the shoulder by pushing the hind legs more under and allowing the horse more freedom on the front! Instead of the shoulder jumping upwards it is supposed to lift softly as the hind quarters help the shoulders in carriage!
