  • @Steve9819 Excuse me? I think maybe you need to get a pair of glasses because that is nowhere to be seen.

  • seeing your plumber's crack is not a good thing...

  • A gigue? Are you sure ? I think that could better be a Polka or a Waltz? It is well known french people use to dance in churches during mass.

I think so the tempo is too fast. French baroque organists had given us some indications on the right tempi (i.e / André Raison 1° livre d'Orgue, 1688: "La Basse de Trompette, de Chromorne ou de Tierce se touche hardiment et nettement, il les faut beaucoup animer")..

It's a poor rendition on a poor organ that goes against french culture.

  • un peu trop "scolaire" , des loupés et manque de vivacité !

  • Now thats some good looking Clerambault right there. Nice performance!

    Regards,

    MO

  • Very nice :)

  • Hi! It's really nice to hear this repertoire! Thanks for sharing it with us. Didn't like the first flute registration. The trumpet in the tenor is really lovely but in the treble, nothing can quite compete with the reeds of Albi Cathedral. I think there also pieces like this benefit by Meantone temperament.

    Well played! Thanks!
