The subarus did seeem to have slightly better power transfer. I like subarus, but they needed to use professional drivers for this. The volvo seemed like it didn't have much of a stability system, witch doesn't bother me that much. Also the guy narating was really annoying.
truthfully the best AWD system in the industry is subarus AWD its been since 1970, thy put it on all theit models instead f what every other company does and only applies AWD to their most expensive cars
this test is BS. When they drive the subies up the ramp they get a better launch off the gripy part right before the rollers. its very evident with the B9 test...
There's no doubt Audi makes a great AWD system. Quattro is a pioneering sytem. Some of the greatest rally cars in history have been Audis.
But here's a very important distinction that ought to be made: the Q5 starts at $37,350 and the Forester starts at $20,495. That's nearly twice as much money! Audis are great cars, but for 2 times the money, they sure as hell better be! Is being "good also" worth 80-90% more money? That's the question I answer with a resounding no.
Actually the Audi and Subaru systems are both great, but this appears to be a very contrived comparison in my view. Subaru and Audi are my two favorite car marques, but this video is ridiculous. I've actually yet to see a good review that includes both Subaru and Audi.
i couldn't agree with you more, i know subaru has an amazing AWD, but how do we know that the cars are "trying hard" to do a certain task?? Just seems stupid especially with subaru sales people behind the wheel.
