Local artist John Félice Ceprano has created a unique set of rock sculptures using rocks from Remic Rapids on the Ottawa River. The sculptures are usually surrounded by water. This summer the water is low so the sculptures are sitting on the flat bottom with fossils from the Champlain Sea visible in the bedrock. These stone sculptures are still beautiful even if they aren't surrounded by the waters of the Kitchissippi. All the stones are balanced and supported only by gravity and other stones, no glue or cement was used. For more photos and panorama movies visit www.jfceprano.com or www.ottawapanoramas.com
