@69eviljack, not questioning those were members of the group at one point, and perhaps even recorded this song, but judging by the jacket cover it is definitely JD as base, and Cecil Blackwood as baritone.

THANKS for uploading this album! I consider this the greatest Southern Gospel LP of all time. I have always thought most, but not all of the songs were recorded before the plane crash with R. W. Blackwood and Bill Lyles singing, but released on LP long after Cecil and J. D. joined. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks again, your copy is in a better state of preservation than any of mine.
As I stated on another song: thanks for posting!!!One comment: when the song picks up speed, it sounds almost TOO fast from the way I remember the song. Is this song off of a record or cassette?Could be the belt is getting stretched ; I have had that happen before and the song gets distorted in it s speed...

@geebeeman1 It is from the album... lol. They may have put this on cassette at some time, but it would not have been in existance when this was recorded. It is quick, but it is actually at the right speed. The Blackwoods and Statesmen were two groups in those days that did that. And Wally Varner had fast fingers on that piano that's for sure.
