This video contains first-hand accounts from the air and ground detailing the events a Hiroshima.

On the 6th of August 1945 the United States dropped a very powerful bomb 'little boy' on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. At this point, the war was at its closing stages. By the end of 1945 over 140,000 people had been killed and thousands more were killed in following years due to illness and injuries caused by exposure to radiaton caused by the bomb. The Japanese surrendered shortly after the bombings on the 15th August 1945. Thank You for watching and remember to subscribe.

  • Fuck you bush

  • @kentamitchell I have done my homework, look back through my posts. It is obvious I have done my homework, it is obvious I know what I am talking about. I have many posts on this video that show I know exactly what I am talking about. I said I wouldn't argue with you,and apart from this response, that's all you're going to get from me. I have already made my point in previous comments. A nonsensical online argument isn't going to happen. Don't be a troll.

  • @Scootertuner1000 Of course I can't change your mind- you simply haven't done your homework on the subject. Mark Twain said it very well: "It ain't ignorance that is dangerous, it's folks knowing things that just ain't so"

I'm certainly going to make the historical truths available to anyone who wants to find them.

  • @Scootertuner1000 WRONG ANSWER! Hiroshima was the headquarters of the Japanese 2nd General Army, under Field Marshal Hata. 43,000 J troops were in the city, & >20,000 died in the bombing.

"...not how to win wars"? TOO FUNNY!

    8/6/45 Little Boy

    8/9/45 11am Fat Man

15 hours later 'god/man' hirohito gave the order to surrender

FYI by 8/45 J army was drafting 'volunteers' M15-60 F17-40

It is a terrible tragedy that the US did not have atomic bombs available 12/8/41.

  • @kentamitchell Its was unnecessary . Killing women, children and old people is not how to win wars. Both cities were almost entirely full of women, children and old people. Most men of fighting age were not there, they were away at war. I won't argue with you about it, you won't change my mind and I know I won't change yours, so let's just save us a nonsensical online argument.

  • @Scootertuner1000 "Those who seek to argue that Japan was ready to surrender before Hiroshima are peddlers of fantasies. True, the Tokyo leadership wanted peace, but on terms rightly uacceptable to the Allies" -Max Hastings "Retribution"

    Even *after* H&N 1/2 J cbt Big 6 wanted

    emporer remains absolute ruler

    no occupation

    J disarms self

no war crimes trials xcpt in J tribunals

  • about time

  • well me i think it was smart to do this because if they hadn't then they would have probably done it to us and we'd be dead so for the people who didn't do anything to us R.I.P and the ones that did well you know what we can do now

  • @schutzstaffa Yes, that's a very intelligent comment.
