Very sorry to hear he passed away, he was an inspiration for me, a funny, elequent and brave man, who convinced me that the hare krishna message had a lot more depth than I knew. I have a couple more interviews with him, and will digitize these and post them. Individuality is an ILLUSION. He did say that. Ego is an ILLUSION. You cannot undertand because you are in false ego consciousness. You can perceive the world seperate from ego, many mistics have experienced this. We are all one consciousness.

@Acyutananda108 'here and there' is an illusion, it does not exist. Your false ego is what separates you from the world and other entities, ego is an illusion.

Kali Baaba is a total charatan. "Different than the people you see on the street"? He's on the street he lives on in L.A. all the time, making inappropriate comments to female passersby, some of them still in high school. Fraud!

I also found Kali Baba's words contradictory, at least superficially.

"I don't believe in duality" and yet he is there and I am here.

Major respect to all, but I believe the truth doesn't need riddles to be understood, imo.

kali baba is spot on. even if he ain't backed by an organisation. he speaks true wisdom.

no one, even indians are capable of pronouncing the language as perfectly as general people did 5000 years ago, but if come to india, then you will see that from village to village, not to speak of regions, the pronounciation is different. Further on, his pronounciation is not perfect, but everyone will get what he means.

The pronunciation of Iskcon-man is wrong. You should first learn the language, in which the scriptures are written. Wrong pronunciation may change mantras, which could be negative for oneself.

Suhotra had some health problems at the time and he died soon after.
