Mellow my mind is one of the Tonight's the Night album songs by Neil Young, released in 1975, the original version is with the electric guitar but I see Neil 3 years ago playing it in Milan unplugged with his 6 strings banjo, the original tune is so high, the same Neil has difficulty to sing it, in the record his voice sounds like a complaint, all that particular album has a very deep and original touch... 6 strings banjo has the same tuned of the standard guitar, could be nice to try to play this song whit it... finger picking... this is my acoustic guitar version.
LyRiCs:
Baby mellow my mind,
Make me feel like a
schoolboy on good time,
Jugglin' nickels and dimes,
Satisfied with the
fish on the line.
I've been down the road
and I've come back
Lonesome whistle
on the railroad track
Ain't got nothing on those
feelings that I had.
Something so hard to find,
A situation that can
casualize your mind.
I've been down the road
and I've come back
Lonesome whistle
on the railroad track
Ain't got nothing on those
feelings that I had.
Baby mellow my mind,
Make me feel like a
schoolboy on good time,
Jugglin' nickels and dimes,
Satisfied with the
fish on the line.
