something like two decades ago, i wrote a short story called "the quiet sear" while on my way to visit some of scranton, pa's Prufrock's Cafe crowd, and left copies of it at Wilkes-Barre's Mantis Green, as well as every cafe and rest stop and bus station i found myself in.

somehow, it turned into this. a channel free/metro screen/black & blue production, peta jane would later take the film all over the world.
