  • wats the difference between freeze dried mealworms and regular mealworms

  • Well, freeze dried is dead, and normal is alive, and alive bugs have more nutritional value than freeze dried, but of coursem you have to gut load them.

  • do hedgehogs smell ?

    like once they pee/poo

  • It says that a hedgehog exhibiting the Algerian colors may or may not exhibit the physical traits. Larger body, ears, nose. In this case, if it was an Algerian, it would be displaying such features. Albinism is a naturally occuring trait. It happens in everything.

  • @noahloveshisboa0913 It isn't; the types are divided up into Eurpean (which can hibernate), African (which should never be allowed to go into hibernation, or they may not be able to come out), and Asian (which I honestly know nothing about).

A more detailed explanation about colors (including algerian) can be found at a website called hedgehogcentral under their "colorguide" section. (Please forgive me, it won't allow me to add the link itself.)

  • @aederringer I'm pretty sure Algerian is a different type of Hedgehog.

  • @noahloveshisboa0913 Algerian means there is a mask... so you can't have an "algerian albino" just as you wouldn't be able to have an "albino pinto".

  • Do all hedgehogs have red eyes?

  • Could u do a taming video? I just got a hedgie and he was not taken god care of by the breeder. He is not tame at all. Can u help??

  • nice vid
