Golden Axe arcade from start to finish and ending credits

This was a game which was a side on hack-em-up, for one or two players.

Taking control of either Ax Battler (The Barbarian), Tyrus Flare (An amazon whose speciality was Fire magic), and Gilius Thunderhead (A dwarf with Thunder & Lightning based sorcery).

You must save the day by defeating Death Adder who has taken control of the Land & its people with the use of the fabled & powerful Golden Axe.

There are about 5 levels to this game where you cut the enemy to bits and defeat strong end of level guardians. With the help of a bit Magic for good measure

And so, the great dragon defeated the mighty Death-Adder, assisted by his trusty sidekick Tiris Flare.

First things first, awesome ending. Period.

Secondly, kids these days can never understand the mindset of someone playing in the arcades. There was no "cheap", there was no strategy or tactic shoddy enough not to be used. Dieing less was in direct correlation with the amount of time you could spend playing, so anything went. Not to mention these games were out to get you, they were about survival, anything was good enough to get through.

Ah, happy memories of being a kid in the 80s, playing this game in the 7-11, eating a borrito covered in nacho cheese, drinking a big gulp...those were the days.
