Dragon Age: Origins - Killing prisoner for the key

So many games with dialogs involve boring quests which no one want to do. Luckily Dragon Age Origins offer simple solution to finish some of the quests with more enjoyable way.

I did this with my female character and made me laugh. My PC looks all innocent and then stabs him. Told the guard he lunged at me, lol.

@AlistairTheHedgehog Well, if you spare Loghain, it is possible for him to get redemption, and if youy play your cards right, get the best ending. (Loghain sacrifices himself to slay the Archdemon, hardened Alastair becomes King, and forgives you for sparing Loghain, since he thinks it was your plan all along.)

Do you show no mercy to anyone? I showed mercy to just about anyone, but How and Loghain don't deserve it.
