Rough Trike TakeOff

Diego takes off into some severe turbulance and wind-shear about 3 miles from coastline in El Salvador. It was so rough, he had to land on the beach into a steady, smooth 20mph off-shore wind from the west.

When Diego was trying to land inland at some other fields, it was so rough that the turbulence knocked his feet completely off of the trike's pedals.

What did the other triker do after seeing that?

He decided not to take off. Later, we had to recover the trike on the beach in the dark.

It was too rough to land inland.

WOW , that is scarey !!!!! Its a good thing Diego is one of the worlds best trike pilots, most people would have just ate it right there........
