  • Lieberman, you fool.

  • DUMBDAVE say's, "when has government gotten anything right."

I guess you don't like the freedom afforded by your military?

I guess you are going to forfeit your social security and you medicare!

  • We no longer need him or his vote. Reid will have no choice but to use reconcilliation as this is his ace in the hole and he will use it to get reform passed.

Republicans have not worked at all with reform but are obstructionists and the party of no.

Democrats won the election and health reform was the platform so expect BIG change with this one.

The majority wants a bill and now, the Republicans are just in the way and will have to move over. They had their chance but sided with the devil.

  • We will end up paying for everything in this bill and like I said before, when has government gotten anything right.

And health care is NOT a right. You do not have a right to another human's services. If passed, the overall quality of health care and of doctors in general will go down. We need less government in health care, not more!

  • Lie-berman is a paid Corporate Whore & will be defeated in his next election.

  • Taxpayers would NOT be forced to pay for the public option - you are perpetuating a lie. The whole thing would be financed by the voluntary premiums paid by the people it covers, with zero subsidies from the federal government.

The only difference between the public option and a private insurance company is that the public option would be non-profit, with no need to advertise or overcharge.

If private health insurance companies can't compete, that's their problem. Health care is a right.

  • You have to love Joe

  • GOD do I HATE Dicky TURBIN Durbin.

I can say it if I want he's MY MARXIST Senator.

    Lieberman is RIGHT.

    GO JOE!

  • Hey, they force me to pay for the military. The police. The fire department. The roads. The schools. What the fuck does Sweden need military for? Not even Hitler wanted to invade our sorry and strategicly poorly placed country. :p And I don't own a car, and I don't go to school. Yet, I don't mind me paying for it, because that's the best and most fair solution.

Socialism combined with a free market does work, we've had it for several decades and have a better system than most countries.

  • But they force me to pay for it. Allow us to opt out and then you can have your public option. But instead, they get there hands on it. Rise up the prices for everyone while the quality goes down. Socialism doesn't work, everything the government touches is on brink of bankruptcy. SS, MediCare, the Post Office. People need to learn to take care of themselves. We don't need Big Brother to take care of us from cradle to grave!
