And characters only tag with another character depending on their feeling together or relation (not blood)

@lorden95 All you have to do is play with sertain characters, try hitomi, she unlocks you a character.

Hitomi unlocks Ein, Eliot unlocks Gen Fu, Zack unlocks Leon, clearing the other sixteen Story Modes unlocks Elena, who in turn unlocks Nicole (the Spartan), and clearing Time Attack Mode with everyone unlocks the Tengu.

@lorden95 You unlock the spartan by beating story mode with every character. That's the only extra I can remember how to unlock.
