1m+ Murray Cod

Well after flicking around for the small bass and silvers for a while it slowed right up, so pete offered to take John and I to a dam that has some big silvers that he could near on guarantee us one,He also mentioned that as far as they knew there is atleast one cod in there that was 1m plus so a flick of the SB could be an option for me. So who was I to knock back the opportunity.Running my SB about 3ft deep above the weed beds I got smacked mid retreive. This fish was one of two cod put in the dam 30 odd years ago, not sure if this was the one caught in the past that was 112cm, and i would estimate 116cm for this one ( was measured against my fishing rod )so it could be him,but I would like to think that there could be two of them in there. Thanks to Pete for an awesome days fishing and the opportunity to catch a few of your fish, one in particular.

@ShaolinALin yeah that would be him, great bloke Pete. There is another vid on my channel under "silvers and Bass" , only landed the one big silver as there like basketballs and bury you in the weed in no time. Thanks for the comments mate

@BuckleysLures Dont belive how rare they say they are. There are places I wont say where that you will catch nothing but Macquarie Perch. Ive seen some large ones too. I wouldnt report it to anyone. As long as you release them and not tell everyone where they are.
