I've been concussed 3 times this year and it was only by the third time that I found a doctor that educated me as to the damage that was beeping done. Education is the key for all people to know what really happens. Thanks for the great video

Glad you found a doctor who took the time to share with you the dangers of repeated head trauma. Thanks for watching.

I have so much respect for this man. I can't even imagine the pressures put on him to not introduce the codes he did for the military because men are supposed to tough it out.

I wish he'd talked more about the longterm effects of getting concussions. Research has shown that those people who get concussions have a MUCH higher chance of getting some sort of brain disease later in life - from major (suicidal) depression to dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Having a doctorate in biomechanics and working in our labs to improve helmet safety, i will kindly disagree with the statement that helmets will more likely cause the injury to occur. i can understand his concern about a false sense of safety when using a helmet, but going over the statistics for contact sports such as rugby and comparing head injuries with the NFL, there is not much of a difference in the stats (find articles at PubMed such as Shuttleworth Edwards et al and many others for NFL)
