  • @NiCodaNiKKA

As much as it pains me to say this, you're probably right.

  • @cruman87 Hawaii is a beautiful place. Maybe it is a good thing that it is so far away. I am sorry that the athletes have to travel so much.

    Aloha.

  • @JuniperSprouts If any team has a right to complain about travel, its Hawaii without a doubt. Any other team that complains is a pussy straight up.

  • @ikikstarbucks years ago. one of the most memorable games of one of the most memorable seasons.

  • @ikikstarbucks would go down in history and my mom was calling relatives on the mainland telling them what happened and that our star quarterback was injured so it was a backup kicker that won the game. (those relatives arent from hawaii so they dont watch hawaii football games. except maybe my mom's uncle. the following year he told us he was a dolphins fan and said " we have devon bess ". anyway i agree with you. several years later and i can still feel the anticipation that i felt four

  • @ikikstarbucks same here. i remember being in my living room and watching with my family. i remember how nervous i was. we all were. and then he scores. but they say that its no good and we're all like " SHIT !!! " and in the last few seconds he scores again and the entire neighborhood goes nuts. and this is normally a quiet neighborhood. but that night it became a loud neighborhood. and everyone in my house was jumping up and down. for weeks my dad was talking about how this game

  • @DaRealMaverick I make no assumptions. Was that a question, by the way? You make it sound like the only way that a team like UGA could play Hawaii fairly would be to meet in Coronado (or Canada?)? Do all Hawaii fans complain about travel? I have been watching Hawaii play since 2001. They will not get another chance at a legit bowl in many, many years.

  • @JuniperSprouts I'm sorry, are you assuming that I'm from Hawaii. I live in California. They may not be from New Orleans, but a travel from Georgia to Lousiana is nothing like flying backwards through several time zones. That stadium Travel is nowhere comparable. I sometimes doubt that any SEC games are actually road games.

  • @DaRealMaverick You mean the 2003 Tide team that was under NCAA sanctions? The team that only beat USF, UK, MSU, and USM that year? A losing team, with 2 coaching changes (Franchione & Price), I would not expect to be...great? Can Hawaii beat great teams?

    .

UGA had a high home field advantage in New Orleans? You should come to the mainland at least once in your life to see how things really are.

  • @JuniperSprouts Wow, really.....I'll be the first to admit that this team wasn't as good as their record shows, I honostly believe the previous team was far better...That loss to georgia was sort of expected...but technically was a high home field advantage as Hawaii had to travel over a thousand miles...The game against Florida was a rebuild year with a lot of freshman and played in Florida...Last SEC team (Alabama) to play against Hawaii at home lost.

  • @NiCodaNiKKA Your forgetting the 2011 season when Hawaii takes the WAC thanks to the Boise departure.
