Since 1977, Community Service Foundation has been helping at-risk kids in Eastern Pennsylvania, providing a safe place and a healthy family atmosphere in our foster group homes.
In a CSF foster home, kids are challenged to address past behaviors and afforded opportunities to practice new ones out in the community, backed by lots of support, structure and accountability.
Each of our 13 foster homes provides a safe, supervised haven for up to six boys or girls.
Our caring, committed foster parents and counselors receive thorough, continual training and support to enable them to provide effective help for the kids.
CSF kids receive like skills training, employment and community service opportunities, along with lots of fun recreational and sports activities.
At CSF our ultimate goal is to reunite kids with their families so they can return home and make a positive contribute in their community.
Families are an absolutely vital part of our work with kids, so we engage them regularly in family meetings and counseling sessions.
All our work with kids and families involves restorative practices, which provides abundant support and accountability at the same time.
At CSF we work with kids, instead of doing things to them or for them, to empower them create a better future for themselves.
And we have an outstanding record of success: In the past three decades, we've helped more than 9,000 become healthy, productive members of society with families of their own.
