Korea Sparkling(Haeshindang Park)

There is a town where only 'Phallicism folk' is handed down in Donghaean (East sea). The name of town is Wondeok-eup, Sinnam Village. Haesindang, Fishery Village Folk Pavilion, and Castle folk park are created in the park, and the representation of Aerang Nangja (Girl) offers tourists new and exotic sightseeing.

@withraul wrong. there is a legend that a couple was about to have sex on the beach when the rising tide took the woman with it. the next day, all fish were dead and shrunk, until a fisherman - quote - relieved himself in the sea. the fish came back and the villagers understood, so they build these statues in order to catch lots of fish in the future. NO FUCKING JOKE!

i think it's because they were wishing to have more sons rather than daugthers, so the sucupture figured in that kinda shape, they believed that they can conceive one as they touch it. i know it's kinda funny but every country has its superstions no? just see how the Harubang(in Jeju island) looks like.
