In this clip from Facing History's L.A. Community Conversation "Film as a Catalyst for Social Change," sponsored by the Allstate Foundation in June 2008, Edward Zwick discusses his new film Defiance about Jewish resistance during the Holocaust. "Twenty years ago, I made a film called Glory which was a little known piece of social history and it supplied some very necessary historical redress." said Zwick. He hopes that Defiance will do the same.

The panel included moderator Kenneth Turan, film critic for the Los Angeles Times, Producer/Director Edward Zwick and Diane Weyermann, Vice President of Documentary Film, Participant Media.
