Ah, i heard that he always had a bodyguard with him after the time he got attacked on stage. Thanks for the info anyway.

He was very formal with a commanding presence. A big, black bodyguard stood next to him who gave us 15 min and when the time was up he promptly showed us out. Frank was sitting through the interview and when I met him several years later he was standing. I was struck by how short he was. He was a towering genius, nevertheless.

wow, he sure did lay a verbal smackdown on jimmy carl black's action back in the day. i used to email some with JCB, he was cool. but frank was/is GAWD.

You're welcome, it was a unique time in FZ's development when he was very direct and honest about his feelings. I think we got him at a vulnerable moment.
