I just installed os x lion today on my 2.16 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro with 3 GB of RAM. Since the install the screen has been flashing black briefly "blinking black" on and off. Has anyone else been experiencing this?
Oh no. I had similar trouble when upgrading to Snow Leopard to the extent I had an Apple support engineer run diagnostics to work out what the problem was. It turned to be the X1600 and was then fixed in an update. I hope Lion hasn't brought these problems back again!
I have had a few isolated "blinking black" on my MBP 2.33 Core 2 Duo, 3gb ram, ATI Radeon X1600 256 MB. What graphics card do you have? Mine does not flicker as much as yours in this video but I have noticed it a couple of times in the last hour... this is not good! I hope this issue will be easily fixed in 10.7.1 for people with older machines like us!
Same problem !!

Same problem here. I have an Imac and my Second display actually goes black for 5-10 seconds at a time.

Macbook pro. 2.54 Ghz intel core 2 duo. 15".
The black screen blinking is so annoying and i have quite a lot of it on this machine.
Also the screen flickers slightly.
