U2 - Silver and Gold

I thought it would be fun to do a U2 song that there aren't so many covers of. I'm going for the live version of Silver and Gold.
I use my trusted DigiTech GSP1101 for the main tone. During the last solo, I kick in my Korg A3 with the Ensemble setting, just like in my cover of In God's Country.

It's pretty much just E and A in the verses. You alternate by playing and open A and on the 14th fret. The muted strumming is just an open E. The chorus (if you can call it that) is E A B E. Check U2station for tabs.

Very good. One thing, the part during Bono's speech when you are playing that chord between the 7th and 9th frets, Edge slaps the strings with the side of his thumb if you watch the Rattle & Hum video. I'm sure you have seen that part.

do you think it is possible to do what you do with a Zoom 3 effects pedal? You should consider offering to put together effect setups like the one you have..... on perhaps ebay. I choose easy U2 songs for acoustic guitar cause theres no way I could sing and play Edge lead at the same time (if assuming I could play Edge lead) I think you have a phd in electronic engineering to boot....
