No on 8 did the same shit

how could a "free country" make gay marriage banned?...americans are fuckin dumb. Americans taking freedom from other americans.

Sorry Aegius but it seems that in addition to putting forth the already frail argument of privilege vs right, you are also just wrong. In spite of what you may hear at church, the US Supreme Court (they're those guys that interpret the law/constitution for us commonfolk) as far back as 1967 with Loving v Virginia defined marriage as "one of the basic civil rights of man". They're those people that, you know, Know More than you do about what is a right and what is not.

you dont want gays comparing them to blacks fighting for rights, yet you bigots keep bringing up incest and polygamy
-
If you were denied marriage with the one you love your comment would be a little different.
-
I'm not comparing these things to homosexuality. I'm pointing out that if the basis for legalizing same-sex marriage can be argued as the same for traditional marriage: equality and love. Pro-polygamy and pro-polymory people will do the same thing and they are ready to go to court for it. And equality and love: Hey 2 siblings are an equal relationship and can claim to have a torrid relationship. Such a relationship built 1 of 7 Wonders of the ancient world: Mausoleum at Halicarnassus.

you are comparing things to homosexuality that are completely irrevelant in order to make your "point", and it looks really ignorant and retarded. If you are going to argue your point, at least think of something original and intelligent instead of comparing homosexuals with polygamy and incest. Absolutely fucking ridiculous.

Marriage equality? Okay, then we should permit siblings to marry and allow for polygamy and polymory. Marriage is a right? I have the right to marry my sibling, my niece or my mom? Wow that sure is news to me.
Its not surprising, I expect behavior like this from people who would actually support a proposition eliminating rights.

kudos to the tv station for an unusually thorough piece. what distinguishes this shocking letter is its extortionate nature, and the reporter says there's no evidence that the No on 8 campaign has demanded money from any yes on 8 supporters. i think the DA should investigate this.:-)
