  • @kire271MK At least I know what my flag stands for...On the Greek flag the cross symbolizes Greek Orthodoxy, the established religion of the people of Greece and Greek Cypriots. The nine stripes represent the nine syllables of the phrase "Ελευθερία ή Θάνατος" ("Freedom or Death"), and the blue & white represents the sky & waves. So now explain Fyrom's flag to me. What does the sun represent? Why is there 8 rays on your flag? What do the red & yellow colors mean? You should know...right?

  • @kire271MK Their flag is based on an English influence, because the East India Company (also known as the East India Trading Company, English East India Company and, after the Treaty of Union, the British East India Company) was an early English joint-stock company. Nice try though...simple-minded, but nice. It's a common mistake for ones who are looking at the flag with uneducated eyes.

  • Long live Republic of Macedonia !!!

  • @kire271MK .....You called the Nazi swastika, the Nazi cross. And finally, you've been brainwashed to see similarities between a red & black Nazi flag with swastika in the middle of it...and a blue & white Greek flag with a religions cross in the upper left corner of it. So you see my friend, I might not know how educated or uneducated you are. But I think I can make an educated guess.

  • @kire271MK So in other words, you have no idea what your nations flag (that you love so much) stands for. For the record, nobody made you change your old flag. International pressures force you to change it, because your nation had no historical claims to the "sun of vergina". I might not know exactly your educational level, but I have some clues: You're 20 years old, so you don't have a full education yet. You think all nation's flags represent war activities and have no real meaning.....

  • @trisnna9801 The macedonian flag is a sun only because you made us change our old flag which was the sun of VERGINA which was found on a REAL HISTORICAL ANCIENT MACEDONIAN SHIELD!!!

  • @trisnna9801 It HAS NO MEANING whatsoever. It usually represents a historic fact about the nation, but certainly has NO deeper meaning as far as the water and the sky and it's colors of blue, white and bullshit like the (almost) Nazi cross, when you talked about the Greek flag. The national symbol which has those meanings is the BACK of the country and I would be happy to explain what my country's back means to you but I see no point.

  • @trisnna9801 Second, you really need to open an elementary school text book and see that a flag of a certain nation is only a symbol which long ago was only used for signaling and war associated activities.

  • @trisnna9801 really? first and foremost how do you know how educated or uneducated I am? for all you know I could be a freaking nasa scientist.
