Using a BC Powder agent with water works great especially when the metal is hot, there is always a chance the hot metal can cause the fire to relight, especially with Bicarbonate of Soda based agents. That just wont happen when water fog is used with the powder. I rarely happens with Purple K. remember that ABC power is a single agent based powder and is NOT designed to be use in conjunction with Water or Foam.

The explanation is simple, the barrel are aiming at them like a shotgun ready to shoot, if there is an explosion (like a little fuel tank in it) it's going to aim at the guys. Ps : sorry for my bad explanation in english.
