Erik "Crusher" Christensen was picked up on waivers by the NYR in December of '09 and managed to stick with the big club after putting up a nice performance. He signed a 2 year contract with the Rangers in July 2010 . . .

@LoFFeN1987 Yeah, shootout success is MUCH needed here, especially with 2 of our big shootout guys out (bouchard & koivu). We've got 3 very good centers already in Koivu, Cullen, and Brodziak, so it'll be interesting to see what happens going forward.
I really liked Wellman, but he needs to be on a line with 2 solid forwards and we just didn't have room for him. I think you'll like what you see out of him.

Yeah, the guy gives some solid interviews. Even though he has his moments of greatness on the ice, his inconsistency is what holds him back to become a full time 2nd/1st liner.
I hope Erik can help you guys in Minny. His shootout success was his biggest strength in NY.
