Dale Earnhardt and Dan Wheldon. The two have few similarities. Dale was killed in 2001, Dan a whole decade later. Dale raced for over 20 years at NASCAR's top level, while Dan had only 7 full time seasons in IndyCar. Dale was known as an aggressive driver, man-handling his car, while Dan known as one of the smoothest drivers in racing. But while they're different, they're also the same. They gave their lives doing what they loved, gave their lives behind the wheel of a race car. Legends are forever.
