Morgan Promnitz and Jared Lane went on an epic fishing trip down to Sacramento Reef, and Cedros Island catching some jumbo Calicos and some very nice grade yellow tail on their Hobie Mirage Outbacks.

  • @MPromnitz alright thanks man. I'm only like 13 years old and i fish a lot. My dad runs a 3/4 day boat out of redondo and i pinhead on it all the time during the summer when there busy. We fish catalina and all the local kelpbeds for cuda and seabass and calicos and stuff but i havent caught a nice yellow like that yet. Hopefully this will be the summer that i do though! Oh ya, nice video too. haha

  • @FantasticBob7000 Yes, we each had a Hobie livewell/bait tank rigged on our kayak but we decided to stick to artificial lures only for this trip. The livewell is great for keeping all kinds of bait and smaller fish species alive all day.

  • @konradyfamily It's the Qualifier 105 - a skiff/kayak trip that they offer. Salas 7x was the ticket!

  • what long range boat is that in the background when you guys were catching those yellows? oh and by the way great video, looks like fun. and salas 7x or 6x?
