it is not allowed to sell stevia in eu as a food additive/sweetener,

so in germany it is sold as a plant coloring agent.

Aspartame is in many products here in Tokyo. The new "COCA COLA GREEN TEA" has Aspartame in it.

I grow this plant in the US :P what makes it sweet is a natualy occuring chemical in the plant known as steviocide here you can buy powdered extracts of it in the dietary section of the stores this plant is almost too sweet when tasted plain i wish i could somehow send you the fresh leaf
