This patient keeps coming to my E.D. every night. Then s/he says if I don't do what she wants s/he will have me fired. I told her that "me and the rest of the staff pay taxes so you don't have to work, and your nightly trip here is paid for by us. So we employ you. Now I am firing you for fraud."

@russochristine1 As a Dr we don't assume this..however I really doubt u will fake a seizure with a dance move or have an allergy to the wind and the direction east. Give us all a little more credit than that. This isnt an attack on anyone...it shows all the unneeded and wastful crap people try and they hurt the people who really need help!

Oh just another day at work. I must say I now use the doctors response in this video of "awesome" when the pt gets beyond ridiculous! Awe sweet medicine....why do I do this again? JK!

Im allergic tylenol, non-fat food and employment. LOL As a nurse I must say this is pretty accurate. and for all the wonderful people out there that like to pull this kind of crap, I hope you know, although you probably don't care, you actually steal time away from those people who are really sick.
We know the really sick ones because those poor babies probably never ask for anything when they're the ones who need it. Karma is a bitch.
