Toyota Tacoma stereo system, speakers tweeters, subwoofer, image dynamics IDQ10V3 subwoofer, tacotunes.com port tuned subwoofer box. enclosure. The subwoofer can handle 500 watts the PDX-5 amp we have installed is putting out about 325 watts to the sub and about 80 watts to the speakers.

@pekitas How much louder do you want it? It is not LOUD as much as we buiild quality sound systems. Building a stealth system with SQ & SPL is much more challenging than just intalling a huge sub box that takes up the rear seat or bad. Check back though we are building a STOOPID loud system.

@01Bitchkiller not true bro! all new toyotas come with jbl speakers and subs. they are extremely nice for being stock. yes they may suck compared to someone willing to put the money into doing a system right, i got two tens in my tacoma and i still can take four people with me. and ps, if your saying you got a cheep kicker then your extremely missing out. low end kicker sucks some major dick, the only way kicker is acceptible is if you buy the expensive shit. check out my videos

@NewfiePaintballa Who cares about 15watt stock paper speakers? STOCK SUCKS! Tacotuners are using ImageDynamics speakers & sub along w/ Alpine headunit & amp..thats a great recipe for sound quality. I built a center console for my 07 tacoma w/ a 10" Kicker Comp sub & it sounds awesome! its cheap,dirty bass but it gets the job done & hits alot louder than u would expect from a 10" sub. in a small cabin like a truck the bass loads well. better than say, a sub box in a trunk of a sedan

a few quick questions for ya. one why dont you do older body style tacomas??? i got a 96 that i would love to upgrade the sound system but i want the best and you guys got it. two why do you use smaller size speakers??? three why is the sub box so long??? its only a 10" why would it need that much cubic feet? thanks! oh and you guys rock! i would pay anything for you guys to do my 96...

Sounds good. I've been doing installs at shops now for a few years and always love it when customers come in with clean sounding cars or want their cars to sound clean and not just slam bass.

My co-worker is the opposite though. 2 FI 18's in a civic hatchback and reached 158db I believe.

@NewfiePaintballa Did you look at our SQ1 package? Has two amps 600 watts to the sub. It is a ported 12" that will easily outperform two 12s in a small box.

@tacotunes It probably be better in my eyes if you had a stronger amp, And 2 subs. Somehow make a sub box thatll fit to shallow subs, And a amp in the middle? Wouldnt be to hard, just a few measurements but it would be a sick thats for sure, What im gonna try to build once i get my taco anyway the summer. How many watts do the stock speakers in a 05 taco put out ye know? Im getting subs, Amp and head unit before speakers n tweeters.
